In 2013, the same people at N.I.S.T. (The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology) who we did a “Preliminary Results” application for, asked us (the team at ArielMIS and me, that is) do write an application to automate their machine calibration certification.
Cam Marshall of ArielMIS did the database work, using Oracle, I believe, and I wrote the front end as a Single-Page-Application (SPA) using Backbone.JS as a framework and Bootstrap to simplify styling, and making extensive use of jQuery for DOM manupilation and form validation. There was some delay in deploying the application as NIST moved some servers around and as far as I know it hasn’t been deployed yet. Trust me, though, it’s a sweet little application.
